Aspen - Pitkin Co (ASE): Location: 5 km/3 Miles NW of Aspen.
By Bus: The Roaring Fork Transit Agency runs a bus service to the towns of Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt & El Jebel. Tel 1-970-925-8484. ?The bus stop for Aspen is directly in front of the airport on Highway 82 and the fare is $1. The first bus leaves the bus stop at 0532, then at 02 & 32 after each hour until 1702. Then every 15 mins at 02, 17, 32, 47 until 1932, then at minutes 02 & 32 with the last bus at 0232. All buses have stops through Aspen and terminate at the Rubey Park Transportation Center, one block from the Silver Queen Gondola in the heart of Aspen. ?The bus stop for Snowmass is on the opposite side of Highway 82 from the airport and the fare is $3. Exact change is required on all buses. The first bus to Snowmass leaves at 0623, then every 30 mins at 23 & 53 after the hour until 1653. Then every 15 minutes until 1932 when service returns to every 30 mins at 23 & 53 after the hour until 0223.

By Shuttle Van: Hy Mountain Transportation 970-925-8294 run door to door shuttles from Aspen Airport. Several Hotels run shuttle buses for guests.

Numerous options make it impossible to get stranded at the airport. Busses stop on Highway 82, next to the terminal building, at quarter after and quarter to the hour. Free to Aspen (always) and Snowmass during ski season from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. $3 to Snowmass after skiing from 4:30 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. Limited luggage space available on busses.

The Town of Snowmass Village provides free shuttle service to most locations in the Village. Buses depart from the shuttle terminal located just below the village Mall on Daly Lane.

Residential parking in neighborhoods is restricted to a maximum of two hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Pay-and-Display parking in the commercial core of downtown Aspen utilize pay stations like traditional parking meters, except that one pay station covers one side of the entire block.
